The discussion focuses on how politicians employ a false brand of multiculturalism, a use that has in turn weakened the possibility of actual cross-cultural understanding. Seeking to establish a new critical approach to cultural studies, this duologue urges citizens to reject the dehumanized fantasies and aggressions that threaten the true goals of multiculturalism.
